Part of the reason I started this blog is to share some healthy tips and recipes that support the girl on the go. I’ve really learned by trial and error over the past few years juggling work, school, and a relationship, so I’m hoping to save you some time and a few lbs.
The first healthy tip that I think is SO important is to schedule your workouts like appointments. Every Monday morning when I come into work, before I do anything, I put appointments into my Outlook calendar for all my workouts during the week. These appointments are really short but state what I am going to do, for example, today said “Workout- Lifting” between 6AM and 7AM. If you enter calendar appointments, you have the ability to move them to the afternoon or morning if you need to and you’ll feel guilty if you skip or delete. We schedule time for other appointments in our lives; haircuts, doctor, etc., so why not schedule appointments to take care of ourselves and then honor them?!
Later this week I’ll be making low-fat chicken cordon bleu with turkey bacon and low-fat mozzarella so tune back in for the recipe. I promise, it’s easy to make and people will think you are a culinary goddess!

Hello Cooking Light Goddess! I'm so happy that you'll be sharing the good recipes with the rest of us! That french toasts casserole I made last week probably wouldn't make the cut :)
